An Apatite for Earth Sciences: Inside Geoscience Club!

Club member Nicolas Spindler looks at a piece of the Allende meteorite through a microscope.

Club president Jacob Ludwig shared his enthusiasm for geology, recalling that, “I always got so excited for Dr. Cutler’s Geology 101 and 102 classes whenever I walked in the Science Center and saw the T-Rex replica in the atrium.” He also hightlighted that, “The geology department here is phenomenal, and I really am grateful for the addition of our new Lab Coordinator, Brennan Ferguson.” Jacob encourages everyone to explore the wonders of geology and invites students to join the Geoscience Club.

The Montgomery College Rockville Geoscience Club meets weekly on Thursdays from 4-5pm in Science Center Room 404, located next to the rock display in The Janet Wert Crampton Geology Lab.
