Congratulations to this year’s class, Class of 2026! Friday, May 22th was a Day-2 commencement, which took place at the Rockville Campus in a tent near the track from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Starting off the commencement was a graduating student named Connor James singing a great rendition of the United States national anthem, “Stars-Spangled Banner”.

At 10:15 a.m., Montgomery College President of all three campuses(Rockville, Germantown and Silver Spring/Takoma Park), Dr. Jermaine F. Williams walked across the stage, greeting all the graduates, parents, staff and faculty.
“Graduates, today, we celebrate you and this important milestone, one that reflects your hard work, your persistence and all you have achieved. Before we continue, I want to express my gratitude to those whose leadership, partnership, and support helped to make moments like this possible.” – Dr. Jermaine F. Williams told the crowd of people.

Before calling the students to come collect their degrees and certificates, Dr. Jermaine F Williams gives out a final speech to the graduates.
“Throughout your lives, you will continue to grow, lean and learn. Our community and our world needs you. We need your talent, perspective and your determination. And before you leave this place today, we want to take one more moment to recognize who you are and who you represent. Because, class of 2026, you reflect the very best of Montgomery College.” – Dr. Jermaine F Williams concluded.
