During finals week, stress is an enemy all college students have in common. Many often struggle to find a way to manage work for other classes, test preparation, and overall sanity during this time of the semester.
If you feel as if you are not prepared, or that you won’t perform well on your finals, consider attending the test preparation/managing test anxiety workshop. The workshop will present ways to be calmer and better prepared for your exams, while providing tips on how to increase your chances of success. The workshop will occur on Thursday, Dec 5, in the Science West building, Room 040, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In order to attend, simply fill out the sign-up portion located at the bottom of the flier and take it to the Counseling and Advising office. Print the form here. There will be a box at the front desk for you to submit your RSVP.
If you need assistance with test taking and are unable to attend the workshop, feel free to make an appointment with counselor Karissa Silver. All students who genuinely need assistance with test taking are strongly encouraged to attend.
The test preparation/managing test anxiety workshop is sponsored by the Montgomery College Rockville Counseling and Advising department.
