Montgomery College professor and counselor Dr. Steve Lietz passed away on Sept. 1, and MC will be holding a memorial in his honor on Wednesday, Oct. 17. All MC students, faculty, staff, and adminstrators are invited to the Theatre Arts auditorium from 2 – 4:30 p.m. for a service to “celebrate the Life of Dr. Steve Lietz.”

He was my Phys. Ed. teacher when I was very young. I loved this guy’s heart and compassion. He gave me something no one else could… confidence. I’m just sorry I found out about this 3 years later. RIP, sir!

I was at the memorial. I only met Dr. Lietz a couple of times or so, but I thought he was cool, and the only adviser I have had so far. I wish I could have seen him one more time before he went.
