Updated Alert System at MC

Montgomery College is modernizing the new MC Alert System to now be able to send up-to-date emergency information straight to an individual’s phone without the need to only check the registered email. It also includes, and is not limited to, voice messages, digital signage, and social media. This enhanced capability is offered through a platform from Rave Mobile Safety.
In order to receive these alerts, users need to log onto MyMC and click on the MC Alert icon right on the homepage. From there you can both update and confirm your contact information and choose your notification preferences for text messages, personal emails, etc.
The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management highly recommends that students sign up for this new alert system, as it updates the user on important emergency information such as delays/closings, crime, and other campus-related incidents.
