Old legends and local talent will soon converge at Montgomery College as British blues and pop band, The Yardbirds will be performing with special guests, Montgomery County’s, The Tail Draggers.

Performing on Saturday, September 10 at 8 p.m. at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center, The Yardbirds are famous for launching the careers of Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, who later founded the band, Led Zeppelin. In addition, The Yardbirds also made several innovations to fuzz tone, backwards echo and a number of other musical distortions. The band’s hits include “For Your Love,” “I’m a Man” and “Over Under Sideways Down.”
