WCW: Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa is a global icon for her selfless service to others.

Mother Teresa was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic charity worker. Known in the Catholic Church as “Saint Teresa of Calcutta,” she was awarded the Noble Peace Prize in 1979.

She devoted her entire life to helping the sick, the poor, the helpless and the needy. Sadly, she died of congestive heart failure in 1997. Regardless, she remains a role model, a mother, and a saint to many who look up to her to this day. This woman had enough love to help put an entire nation out of its misery; a woman who sacrificed her life to serve others; a woman who did things that most of us can only imagine. A mother to all who lived. Don’t be worried, she lives on in Heaven; looking upon each and every one of us. Mother Teresa, pray for us.
