CRIME ALERT
In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Montgomery College posts crime alerts for serious crimes that occur within its Clery geography and that may pose an ongoing risk to members of the College community. Through crime alerts, the College seeks to encourage crime prevention and safety practices.

ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT-Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus On Thursday, October 13, 2011, at approximately 1430 hours, it was reported by a third party witness to the Office of Safety & Security that there was a possible sexual assault on the second floor of the Student Services Center. No weapons are reported to have been involved. The alleged victim left campus together with the three other individuals involved. The Takoma Park Police Department is investigating the allegations.
The descriptions of the accused suspects are as follows:
Suspect #1: Light -skinned African-American male with short, blond hair wearing a dark pullover sweatshirt with a white tank top underneath and blue jeans Suspect #2: Latino male wearing a black jacket Suspect #3: African-American female wearing black shirt and blue jeans Anyone with any information regarding the crime should contact Montgomery College Safety and Security (240-567-1600) or Takoma Park Police (301-270-1100)
