Hello, my name is Soribel Almonte Ortiz, and this is my first semester at MC. I am currently a staff writer in The Advocate newspaper, majoring in business. After graduating from MC, I plan to transfer to a four-year institution and pursue a marketing major and a minor in international relations. Being part of The Advocate informs me of the events and stories within the MC community and encourages me to form an opinion about them. I plan on integrating this knowledge into my business career. I am excited to share my voice, learn from my colleagues’ expertise, and notify our community of Montgomery College’s daily happenings.
