Fall classes began on Aug. 27, and it’s time to kick off the new semester with energy and positivity. To help students stay on top of things, they need to know the dates of deadlines and special events created to benefit the students’ experience.
Full dates and deadlines can be accessed on the MyMC homepage under Student Dates and Deadlines.

Dates involving finances are Aug. 28-31; Sept. 1, 4; Nov. 1, 6; Dec. 1
  • Aug. 27—Classes begin for Fall 2018 semester; last day to enter into a 3-pay installment payment plan for Fall 2018; late registration fee begins for Fall 2018
  • Aug. 28-31—Deadlines for a refund or to add, drop without a W, or change from audit/credit for Fall 2018. Check MyMC for these specific dates with your schedule, as they vary from class to class
  • Sept. 1—Priority deadline for international students changing status (B-2 or F-2) to F-1 for Spring 2019.  See international coordinators for more information.
  • Sept. 4—Late payment fee begins for Fall 2018
  • Sept. 7—Last date to declare/update major for Fall 2018
  • Sept. 14—Dream Act applications due for Fall 2018; Disability Tuition Waiver forms due for Fall 2018
  • Sept. 24—Winter 2019 class schedule available for viewing only
  • Oct. 1—Graduation application deadline for Fall 2018; 2018-2019 FAFSA is available online; deadline for new international students (F-1 and M-1) to apply for a form I-20 (outside the US or planning to change status) for Spring 2019
  • Oct. 2-27—Financial aid academic plans reviewed by academic counselors and  departmental advisors for Fall 2018
  • Oct. 8—Registration opens for Winter 2019; Spring 2019 class schedule available for viewing only
  • Oct. 8-13—Fall midterm exams
  • Oct. 22—Priority registration opens for Spring 2019; midterm grades due for Fall 2018
  • Oct. 29—General registration opens for Spring 2019
  • Nov. 1—Deadline to submit the transcript to MC for transfer credit evaluation for Spring 2019; Spring 2019 financial aid priority deadline for students who didn’t apply for aid in the fall
  • Nov. 6—Fall financial aid academic plans due back to Financial Aid Office: certificate students only; Spring financial aid academic plans due back to Financial Aid Office: SAP Appeals
  • Dec. 1—Priority admissions application deadline for students new to the College for Winter 2019 and Spring 2019; deadline for form I-20 paperwork for transfer students in the US (international students) for Spring 2019; deadline to request Disability Support Services for Winter 2019 and Spring 2019; Last day to request Fall 2018 loans through financial aid
  • Dec. 10-16—Final exams for Fall 2018
  • Dec. 12—Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver begins for Winter 2019
  • Dec. 17—Online-only classes begin for Winter 2019
  • Dec. 19—grades due from faculty by 11:59 p.m. for Fall 2018
