Rockville Assessment Moved through March 31

The Rockville Assessment Center has temporarily moved testing operations to Macklin Tower(MT) 002, basement level. The assessment center will be at this temporary location through Friday, March 31.

“The temporary relocation of the Rockville Campus Assessment Center was performed to isolate staff and students from construction activities while their current space in the Campus Center is renovated,” said Marcus Rosano, Director of Media and Public Relations.

According to Rosano, the project began in the Fall 2016 semester. Central Facilities and Provost Dr. Kimberely Kelley evaluated safety measures for Provost Dr. Kim Kelley evaluated safety measures for students and staff and a decision to relocate seemed most appropriate.

“The project has been moving forward successfully. After renovations, the RV assessment center will have four DSS private rooms with all software and programs needed for test accommodations. In addition, 15 computer testing stations will be added. The center will be equipped with a total of 80 computer stations by the end of this project,” said Rosano.
