“I went to Mozambique on a mission trip and it literally shook my world like, you know, culture shock and all that. It was  hands down the best experience of my life. I saw poverty–immense poverty and I’ve never been around that type of culture. I always grew up like having everything, you know? It was just so emotional, […] I felt such a connection to the kids. […] When I would leave the different villages, I would be in tears missing them, they were the most selfless,loving people I’ve seen in my life and they just wanted to share everything–it was amazing. [—] It was my first time traveling out of the US.”
