Nam Nguyen: Fashion show and dressing well on a budget
November 1, 2012
Being a college student, working on a budget is the de facto way to do just about anything, especially when trying to look your best. Nam Nguyen, a young designer, appeared at the fourth annual Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle expo in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 20. In addition to showing off items from his new line, the twenty-year-old Nguyen dropped some advice to college students looking to dress well on a budget:
“[Try using] thrift stores. And really, really searching. Personally, I’m a student also, so I go to clearance [sales]. It’s the way present yourself, it’s not what you wear. It’s not just the logo. It has to do with the whole style.
