“I’m a Chemistry major because I want to be a doctor. Last year, my friend got in a car accident. She was T-boned by a suburban and I was the first person she called. When I got to the scene, I felt like garbage because I couldn’t do anything..she was in all this pain and distress and I couldn’t help her. I came to the realization that I had to become a doctor. My goal, once I get my MD, is to work with Doctors Without Borders for a least three years.”
